Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Autoportrait, 1975 by Isabelle Waldberg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,550.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Isabelle Waldberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ensemble De 12 Sculptures - Circa 1975-77 in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 10,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autoportrait, 1975 von Isabelle Waldberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.550,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isabelle Waldberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ensemble De 12 Sculptures - Circa 1975-77 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.400,00.
