In November 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern British Art Day Sale, which included the work The African Girl by Isaac Rosenberg. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,279.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Rosenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self Portrait in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 168,750.00 (€ 190,344.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The African Girl von Isaac Rosenberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.279,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Rosenberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self Portrait im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.750,00 (€ 190.344,87).
