Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Cottages In A Landscape; Portrait Of A Lady; A Landscape With Cottages by Isaac Antcher was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 725.97). Admittedly, works by Isaac Antcher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bouquet De Fleurs, Circa 1930 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 5,738.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Cottages In A Landscape; Portrait Of A Lady; A Landscape With Cottages von Isaac Antcher im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 625,00 (€ 725,97) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Antcher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bouquet De Fleurs, Circa 1930 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.738,00.
