Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Irene Sierra Carreño; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paisaje Jugoso Con Caballo I sold at auction in May 2009 with the realized price of USD 53,125.00 (€ 37,607.96).
