Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Caudillo - 2012 by Inti Castro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,710.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Inti Castro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Heart - 2015, which sold at auction in October 2015 for EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Caudillo - 2012 von Inti Castro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.710,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Inti Castro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Heart - 2015 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert wurde.
