Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Bullies by Inka Essenhigh for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,164.75). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Inka Essenhigh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 132,000.00 (€ 106,891.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bullies von Inka Essenhigh für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.164,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Inka Essenhigh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 106.891,25).
