Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Portrait of a lady by Immanuel Ibsen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.35). Admittedly, works by Immanuel Ibsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life in June this year with an auction result of DKK 10,000.00 (€ 1,342.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Portrait of a lady von Immanuel Ibsen im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,35) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Immanuel Ibsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 10.000,00 (€ 1.342,49).
