Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Imants Tillers could be acquired at Bonhams in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sherman Collection | Prints & Multiples auction, the work The Year Two Thousand, 1998 changed hands for AUD 246.00 (€ 151.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 600.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imants Tillers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Psychic (For Yves Klein) in April 2001 with an auction result of AUD 44,650.00 (€ 25,640.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Imants Tillers konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Sherman Collection | Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit The Year Two Thousand, 1998 für AUD 246,00 (€ 151,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 600,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imants Tillers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Psychic (For Yves Klein) im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 44.650,00 (€ 25.640,79).
