Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Suprematist Composition by Ilya Grigorievich Chashnik. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,794.10), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Grigorievich Chashnik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Seventh Dimension, Suprematist Relief in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,408,750.00 (€ 2,842,088.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Suprematist Composition von Ilya Grigorievich Chashnik zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.794,10) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Grigorievich Chashnik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Seventh Dimension, Suprematist Relief im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.408.750,00 (€ 2.842.088,18).
