The work Destroyed Painting by Igor Kopystiansky was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in February 2007. The price achieved of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,684.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Igor Kopystiansky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Interior #5 was auctioned for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 44,805.25).
