In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Self Portrait by Igor Gerasimovich Terentiev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,061.58), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Self Portrait the most expensive artwork by Igor Gerasimovich Terentiev that we have observed at auctions so far.
