Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Défilé De La Fête Dieu by Ignacio Gil Sala for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Drawings at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ignacio Gil Sala have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2008 by the work Saying Hello at USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,913.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Défilé De La Fête Dieu von Ignacio Gil Sala für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Drawings bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Gil Sala wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Saying Hello mit USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.913,89).
