A top price for Ignace Spiridon - as previously expected
In April 2006 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Univited Guest by Ignace Spiridon. The result of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,505.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Univited Guest is the most expensive artwork by Ignace Spiridon that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Univited Guest von Ignace Spiridon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.505,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Univited Guest das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ignace Spiridon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
