Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES, which included the work Funeral procession by Ida Bagus Made Nadera. The price achieved of HKD 101,575.00 (€ 13,178.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ida Bagus Made Nadera - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sanghyang Dedari and Sanghyang Jaran Dance Performances on a Village Square., which sold at auction in September 2001 for SGD 64,625.00 (€ 40,192.64).
