Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ibrahim Safi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December this year. In the A Moroccan Winter auction, the work La Corne d'Or sold for MAD 65,600.00 (€ 6,001.37) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ibrahim Safi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vue D'Istanbul Du Pont De Galata sold at auction in December 2012 with the realized price of EUR 9,267.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ibrahim Safi erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Moroccan Winter wurde die Arbeit La Corne d'Or für MAD 65.600,00 (€ 6.001,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ibrahim Safi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vue D'Istanbul Du Pont De Galata im Dezember 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.267,00.
