Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections, which included this untitled work by Ibrahim Nubani. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ibrahim Nubani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Returning To Haifa, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,592.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ibrahim Nubani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim Nubani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Returning To Haifa beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.592,10) versteigert wurde.
