Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Topeng Bali by Nyoman Meja. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,589.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Nyoman Meja have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work At The Market, 1975 was auctioned for HKD 75,625.00 (€ 8,580.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Topeng Bali von Nyoman Meja zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.589,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nyoman Meja konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2019 die Arbeit At The Market, 1975 für HKD 75.625,00 (€ 8.580,89) versteigert.
