In March 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work Rabbi With Torah by Hyman Bloom. The »bidding war« ended at USD 51,000.00 (€ 38,133.69), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hyman Bloom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Archaeological Treasure, which sold at auction in October 2016 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 79,821.20).

Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rabbi With Torah von Hyman Bloom zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 51.000,00 (€ 38.133,69) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hyman Bloom mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Archaeological Treasure beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 79.821,20) versteigert wurde.
