This artwork by Hussein Salim achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February last year. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work My Jungle I sold for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,573.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. This high result makes My Jungle I the most expensive artwork by Hussein Salim that we have observed at auctions so far.
