Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptian the Grain Silo by Hussein Bicar was sold in the 20th Century Art/ Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,687.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hussein Bicar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvest I in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 247,500.00 (€ 225,779.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptian the Grain Silo von Hussein Bicar wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.687,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hussein Bicar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvest I im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 247.500,00 (€ 225.779,97).
