A top price for Huo Chunyang - as previously expected
In April 2021 Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Summer by Huo Chunyang. It changed hands for a price of AUD 3,075.00 (€ 2,556.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 2,500.00 – 3,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer is the most expensive artwork by Huo Chunyang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer von Huo Chunyang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 3.075,00 (€ 2.556,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 2.500,00 – 3.200,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Summer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Huo Chunyang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
