This artwork by Hugo Erfurth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in May 2013. In the Auktionen 207-214 - Photographie auction, the work Otto Dix im Profil. sold for EUR 24,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hugo Erfurth; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Oskar Kokoschka, 1920 sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 31,165.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hugo Erfurth erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Auktionen 207-214 - Photographie wurde die Arbeit Otto Dix im Profil. für EUR 24.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hugo Erfurth; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Oskar Kokoschka, 1920 im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 31.165,07).
