In December 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Classic Sale F173, which included the work View From Tangier. by Hugo Backmansson. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugo Backmansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Marketplace. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 4,600.00.

Im Dezember 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Classic Sale F173 durch, in der auch die Arbeit View From Tangier. von Hugo Backmansson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugo Backmansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Marketplace. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.600,00.
