Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work A lady writing in a Dutch interior by Hubertus van Hove for GBP 587.50 (€ 947.12). This price was achieved in the auction British & Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hubertus van Hove achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant figures in interior of Huis Schuylenburch, The Hague in October 2009 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A lady writing in a Dutch interior von Hubertus van Hove für GBP 587,50 (€ 947,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British & Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hubertus van Hove erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegant figures in interior of Huis Schuylenburch, The Hague im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
