In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work At the fair by Hubert de Vries. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,314.50 64% above the upper estimate. This high result makes At the fair the most expensive artwork by Hubert de Vries that we have observed at auctions so far.
