Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sparrows by Huang Zhou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,400.00 (€ 7,546.10). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Zhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Xinjiang Dance in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sparrows von Huang Zhou wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.400,00 (€ 7.546,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Zhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Xinjiang Dance im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 498.292,10).
