This artwork by Huang Yuxing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work The Trees Around the Small Plaza sold for HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 177,425.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yuxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven Treasure Pines in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 64,830,000.00 (€ 7,343,352.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Yuxing erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit The Trees Around the Small Plaza für HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 177.425,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yuxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven Treasure Pines im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 64.830.000,00 (€ 7.343.352,18).
