Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Monk Writing On The Banana Leaf by Huang Yongyu was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 345,000.00 (€ 35,518.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yongyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 19,300,000.00 (€ 2,077,937.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Monk Writing On The Banana Leaf von Huang Yongyu wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 345.000,00 (€ 35.518,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yongyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.300.000,00 (€ 2.077.937,47).
