The work Lotus by Huang Yanghui was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,241.16), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Yanghui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plum, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 69,000.00 (€ 6,417.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Huang Yanghui wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.241,16) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Yanghui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Plum beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 69.000,00 (€ 6.417,45) versteigert wurde.
