Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2009 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Rice Field Series - Aweather Banana by Huang Ming-Chang. The price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 31,655.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Huang Ming-Chang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work A peaceful mind was auctioned for HKD 480,000.00 (€ 48,213.20).

Im April 2009 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rice Field Series - Aweather Banana von Huang Ming-Chang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 31.655,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Huang Ming-Chang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2006 die Arbeit A peaceful mind für HKD 480.000,00 (€ 48.213,20) versteigert.
