Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower And Bird by Huang Huanwu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 47,200 (€ 5,054) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 40,000 - 60,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Huanwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 620,000 (€ 53,880).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower And Bird von Huang Huanwu wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200 (€ 5.054) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000 – 60.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Huanwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000 (€ 53.880).
