Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds and Flower by Huang Huanwu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2023. The price achieved of HKD 37,800 (€ 4,542) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 30,000 - 50,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Huanwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 620,000 (€ 53,880).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds and Flower von Huang Huanwu kam im Februar 2023 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800 (€ 4.542) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000 – 50.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Huanwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000 (€ 53.880).
