Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds On A Snowy Night by Huang Huanwu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,600 (€ 8,094) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000 - 80,000. Admittedly, works by Huang Huanwu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 620,000 (€ 53,880).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds On A Snowy Night von Huang Huanwu wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.600 (€ 8.094) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000 – 80.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Huanwu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000 (€ 53.880).
