Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work The Kites by Huang Guanyu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 448,400.00 (€ 63,756.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Huang Guanyu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work The Young was auctioned for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 94,921.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Kites von Huang Guanyu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 448.400,00 (€ 63.756,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Huang Guanyu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit The Young für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 94.921,66) versteigert.
