Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Goldfish by Huang Dufeng was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 16,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,982.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Huang Dufeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes Of Chaozhou in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 70,106.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Goldfish von Huang Dufeng kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 16.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.982,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Dufeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes Of Chaozhou im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 70.106,56).
