The work Serene Studio by Hua Yan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,280.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hua Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds and Flowers in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 19,140,000.00 (€ 1,988,430.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Serene Studio von Hua Yan kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.280,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hua Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds and Flowers im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.140.000,00 (€ 1.988.430,75).
