Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Autumn Flowers by Hua Yan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,040.59), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 350,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hua Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds and Flowers in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 19,140,000.00 (€ 1,988,430.75).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Autumn Flowers von Hua Yan kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.040,59) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hua Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds and Flowers im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.140.000,00 (€ 1.988.430,75).
