The work a hanging scroll by Hua Guan was sold in the Chinese Art auction at Christies in London in November 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,115.88), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hua Guan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait in December last year with an auction result of EUR 151,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit a hanging scroll von Hua Guan wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Chinese Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.115,88) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hua Guan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 151.200,00.
