A top price for Hsu Gerlin - as previously expected
The work Overwhelming Temptation by Hsu Gerlin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Overwhelming Temptation is the most expensive artwork by Hsu Gerlin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Overwhelming Temptation von Hsu Gerlin kam im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.203,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Overwhelming Temptation das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hsu Gerlin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
