In May 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Los Virreyes de la Nueva España, 1525-1821 (de Don Fernando a Juan Ruiz de Apodaca) by Horacio Rentería Rocha. The price achieved of USD 21,600.00 (€ 17,491.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00.
