A top price for Horace Fisher
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work Roses by Horace Fisher. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,421.86), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Roses the most expensive artwork by Horace Fisher that we have observed at auctions so far.
