Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Heart Sutra in Regular Script by Hong Yi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 70,125.00 (€ 8,240.88), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy of Sutra in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,094,815.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Heart Sutra in Regular Script von Hong Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 70.125,00 (€ 8.240,88) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy of Sutra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.094.815,86).
