Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Calligraphy in Regular Script by Hong Yi. The price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,137.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy of Sutra in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,094,815.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script von Hong Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.137,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy of Sutra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.094.815,86).
