The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Hong Yi was worth HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 128,697.79) to a buyer in February this year. This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hong Yi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy of Sutra in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,094,815.86).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Hong Yi war einem Käufer im Februar diesen Jahres HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 128.697,79) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Yi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy of Sutra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.094.815,86).
