Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Journey to Uncertainty by Ho Fan was sold in the Figure and Form: Modern Art Featuring Bridging Generations, Property from an Important Southeast Asian Private Museum auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,705.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ho Fan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lines And Forms, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Journey to Uncertainty von Ho Fan wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Figure and Form: Modern Art Featuring Bridging Generations, Property from an Important Southeast Asian Private Museum bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.705,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ho Fan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lines And Forms beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52) versteigert wurde.
