Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,231.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hilton Lark Pratt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trimmed and spurred fighting cocks, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,739.59).
