In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Prints including Property from the Collection of the Late Walter L. Strauss, which included the work The Three Goblets (after Albrecht Altdorfer) (Hollstein 72) by Hieronymus Hopfer. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,533.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Hieronymus Hopfer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2000 the work The Judgment of Paris, after Lucas Cranach (B. 34; Holl. 38) was auctioned for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,994.82).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.533,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
