In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Hermann Camargo. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,909.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Hermann Camargo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2020 the work Mandarinas was auctioned for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,646.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hermann Camargo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.909,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hermann Camargo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2020 die Arbeit Mandarinas für USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.646,80) versteigert.
