Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gloucester by Herman Rose was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 882.00 (€ 752.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Rose have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers On A Chair in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,807.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gloucester von Herman Rose wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 882,00 (€ 752,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Rose auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers On A Chair im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.807,98).
