Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 auction, the work An Italian River Landscape With A Tower Overlooking A Waterfall sold for EUR 4,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Naiwincx have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A rocky coastal landscape with a wooden bridge and horsemen in the foreground; and A rocky river landscape with an elegant hawking party on a path near a waterfall in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 16,800.00.
